J&K Bank Recruitment 2025: Apply for Zonal Security Officer Posts on Contract Basis

Jammu and Kashmir Bank (J&K Bank) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Zonal Security Officers (on contract basis). The bank has released an official notification announcing two vacancies for this post at its Zonal Office Doda and Zonal Office Rajouri.

Vacancy Details

• Post Name: Zonal Security Officer
• Number of Vacancies: 02 (One each at Zonal Office Doda & Rajouri)

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Graduate in any discipline, preferably from a recognized university.
• Experience: Must have served in the rank of DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police) or equivalent in Police/Army/Paramilitary forces with an excellent service record. Minimum 3 years of experience as DSP or equivalent required.
• Age Limit: Maximum 62 years as on 01.01.2025.

Job Responsibilities

• Implement and periodically review the Security Policy.
• Plan and execute security at bank premises as per guidelines of GoI, RBI, and IBA.
• Ensure efficiency, training, and discipline of security staff.
• Liaise with Police, Fire Services, local authorities, and government departments.
• Provide professional inputs to the Central Security Department.
• Handle other security-related tasks assigned by the Bank.

Salary

• Rs. 45,000/- per month (fixed).
• TA/DA admissible for official tours/visits.

Contract Tenure

• Appointment on purely contractual basis for three years, subject to annual performance review.
• No renewal of engagement after completion of three years.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting based on qualification, experience, and suitability.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview/Interaction.
