The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued Advertisement Notification No. 08 of 2025, dated September 27, 2025, inviting applications for various UT, Divisional, and District cadre posts across multiple government departments.

  • Educational Qualification:

    • For Junior Assistants: Graduation from a recognized university with knowledge of typewriting (minimum speed of 35 words per minute).
    • For Stenographers: Graduation with shorthand speed of 65 words per minute and typewriting speed of 35 words per minute.

  • Selection Criteria:

    • Junior Assistants:
      • Type Test / Skill Test – 20 points
      • Written Examination – 80 points
    • Stenographers:
      • Skill Test – 40 points
      • Written Examination – 60 points
