The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced the Poshan Project Gurez Recruitment 2025 through Advertisement Notice No. 1 of 2025, dated 24 October 2025. Applications are invited for the posts of Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) and Anganwadi Helpers (AWHs) under the Office of the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Gurez, Bandipora district.

👩🏫 Eligibility Criteria
Domicile:
- Must be a permanent resident of J&K.
- Must belong to the concerned ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
- The candidate’s name must appear in the voter list or be certified by the Tehsildar.
Age Limit:
- 18 to 37 years as of 01 January 2024.
Educational Qualification:
- Anganwadi Worker (Sangini): 10+2 pass (preference to graduates).
- Anganwadi Helper (Sahayika): 8th pass (lower qualification considered if no eligible candidate).
📑 Selection Criteria
- Selection based on academic merit.
- In case of a tie, the older candidate will be preferred.
- Preference to candidates from the same ward, then adjoining wards.
- Married candidates considered for wards where they are married.
- Verification of original documents is mandatory.
