JKSSB Class Iv Jobs - Age, Qualification, Selection Criteria .
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has clearly defined the educational qualification criteria for recruitment to Class IV (MTS/Class 4th) posts across various government departments in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
Educational Qualification for JKSSB Class IV Posts
As per S.O. 184 dated 04-06-2020, read with SRO 99 of 2008 dated 07-04-2008, the prescribed qualification for appointment to Class IV posts through direct recruitment is:
Minimum Qualification: Matriculation (10th pass)
Maximum Qualification: 10+2 (12th pass)
This means that candidates must have passed Class 10, but should not possess qualifications higher than Class 12 to be eligible for these posts.
Important Eligibility Condition
The notification clearly states that:
- Any candidate having a qualification other than the prescribed minimum and maximum qualification shall not be eligible for appointment to Class IV posts.
- Therefore, candidates holding graduation or higher degrees are not eligible to apply for JKSSB Class IV vacancies.
