POSHAN Project Srinagar Recruitment 2026: Anganwadi Workers & Helpers Posts Announced
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, through the Office of the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), has officially announced recruitment under the POSHAN Project Srinagar (Phase-I) for the year 2026. Applications are invited for engagement of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) in various Anganwadi Centres of Srinagar.
This recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement Notice No. 03-CDPO (SGR) of 2025 dated 29-12-2025. Eligible female candidates belonging to the concerned electoral wards may apply in the prescribed offline format.

Eligibility Criteria
For Anganwadi Workers (Sangini)
- Must be a female domicile of UT of J&K
- Age: 18 to 37 years as on 01-01-2026
- Candidate must belong to the same electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located
- Minimum qualification: 10+2
- In case of equal merit, older candidate will be preferred
- Married candidates must have their residential address within the concerned ward
For Anganwadi Helpers (Sahayika)
- Female domicile of Jammu & Kashmir
- Age: 18 to 37 years as on 01-01-2026
- Must belong to the concerned electoral ward
- Minimum qualification: 8th pass
- Widow or divorcee candidates will be given preference

Applicants must attach self-attested copies of the following documents:
- Domicile Certificate
- Educational Qualification Certificates
- Date of Birth Certificate
- Aadhaar Card
- Recent Passport-size Photographs
- Proof of Residence / Ward Certificate
- Original documents will be verified at the time of document checking.
- Application Submission Process
- Eligible candidates must submit the prescribed application form (Annexure-A) along with all required documents to the Office of the Child Development Project Officer, POSHAN Project Srinagar.
Applications received after 31-01-2026 or incomplete applications will not be considered.
