New Monthly Charges:
- 🔴 Non-Metered: Rs 2,700 (Was Rs 1,800)
- 🔴 BPL Households: Rs 1,800 (Was Rs 1,500)
"Back-Breaking" Increase
The 50% jump in rates for non-metered consumers has been described as a direct attack on the common man. Families already struggling with inflation now face a monthly bill of Rs 2,700 just for basic electricity.
