​NABARD has announced a total of 162 vacancies across various regional offices.

​1. Development Assistant (Total: 159)

​The majority of vacancies are for the general Development Assistant role. The states with the highest number of openings include:

  • Maharashtra (including Mumbai HO): 48 vacancies
  • Uttar Pradesh: 11 vacancies
  • Madhya Pradesh: 10 vacancies
  • Gujarat & Tamil Nadu: 09 vacancies each

​2. Development Assistant - Hindi (Total: 03)

​Specific vacancies for the Hindi stream are available in:

  • Andhra Pradesh: 01
  • Maharashtra (HO Mumbai): 01

​Eligibility and Application Rules

  • Single State Application: You can apply for vacancies in one State only.
  • Single Post Rule: Candidates can apply for either Development Assistant OR Development Assistant (Hindi), but not both.
  • Horizontal Reservation: Reservations for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PWBD) and Ex-Servicemen (EXS) are applied horizontally within the overall state-wise vacancies.
  • OBC Category: Candidates in the 'Creamy Layer' are not entitled to OBC reservation and must apply under the Unreserved (UR) category.
