Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: MBBS with MD/DNB in Psychiatry or equivalent qualification recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Age Limit: Maximum 65 years.
- Candidates must be residents of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration of ₹85,000 per month.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on academic merit and interview performance.
- MBBS Qualification – 60 Marks
- PG Diploma – 10 Marks
- PG Degree – 20 Marks
- Viva-Voce – 20 Marks
Terms & Conditions
- The appointment is purely contractual and initially valid up to 31 March of the financial year of selection.
- Contract extension will depend on performance and approval from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
- Preference will be given to candidates from the concerned district.
- The number of vacancies may increase or decrease as per requirement.
