JKSSB Junior Assistant exam : Answer key
Following the successful conduct of the Junior Assistant Written Exam today, April 19, 2026, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) is expected to release the Provisional Answer Key within the next 6 to 8 hours.
Aspirants can use the answer key to calculate their tentative scores and evaluate their performance before the final results are declared.

If you find any discrepancy in the provisional key, you can submit a representation to the Board. Based on recent JKSSB protocols for 2026:
- Submission Window: Usually 3 working days from the date of the key release.
- Fee: A fee of ₹200 per question is required (often via Demand Draft).
- Refund: If your objection is found valid, the fee is typically refunded to the candidate.
- Evidence: You must attach documentary proof/authentic reference material to support your claim.
Marking Scheme & Score Calculation
To find your score, use the following marking criteria:
- Correct Answer: +1 Mark
- Incorrect Answer: -0.25 Mark
- Unattempted: 0 Marks
Important Note: The final result will be prepared based on the Final Answer Key, which is released after all candidate objections have been reviewed by a panel of experts.
