SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026: 300 Vacancies Announced for Jammu & Kashmir, Apply Online
The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the official notification for engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentice Act, 1961 for the year 2026-27. A total of 7,150 apprentice seats have been announced across India, including 300 vacancies for the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
The online application process has started from 19 May 2026 and interested candidates can submit their applications till 08 June 2026. The online examination is expected to be conducted in July 2026.
J&K Vacancy Details
According to the notification, Jammu & Kashmir has been allotted 300 apprentice seats. The local language for candidates applying from J&K will be Urdu/Hindi.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed Graduation from a recognized University or Institute as on 01 April 2026.
Age Limit
Applicants must be between 20 to 28 years as on 01 April 2026. Candidates should have been born between 02 April 1998 and 01 April 2006. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable as per Government rules.
Stipend and Training Duration
Selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of one year. During the training period, apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000. No additional allowances or benefits will be provided.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of:
- Online Written Examination
- Local Language Test
- Medical Examination
The online written exam will include the following sections:
- General/Financial Awareness
- General English
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude
The examination for J&K candidates will be available in English, Hindi, and Urdu.
