Counselor Eligibility
Essential Qualification
- Master’s degree in Psychology
- Master’s degree in Social Work
- Master’s degree in Sociology
- Master’s degree in Humanities
Desirable Qualification
- Training in management of substance use disorder
- Experience in mental healthcare delivery and counseling
Nurse Eligibility
- ANM qualification recognized by the State Nursing/Paramedical Council
- Preference will be given to GNM/BSc Nursing candidates
Important Terms & Conditions
- Applicant must be a domicile of J&K UT.
- Selection will be made purely on the basis of merit obtained in the written test.
- Engagement is purely contractual and does not guarantee permanent absorption.
- Initial engagement will remain valid up to 31 March 2027.
- The contract may be extended depending on continuation of the scheme, availability of funds, and satisfactory performance.
- Maximum contractual period shall not exceed 3 years.
- Monthly remuneration is consolidated and inclusive of all allowances.
- Selected candidates must submit an affidavit stating they will not claim regular appointment or extension.
- In-service candidates are not eligible.
