GAMC Akhnoor Invites Applications for 29 Paramedical and Technical Posts

Akhnoor: Government Ayurvedic Medical College (GAMC), Akhnoor, has invited applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of paramedical and technical staff under Academic Arrangement Basis.

According to the official notification issued by the Principal, the recruitment process has been initiated to address staff shortages identified during the inspection conducted by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) in May 2026.

The appointments will be made initially for a period of one year and may be extended annually based on performance and conduct. The engagement can continue for a maximum period of six years or until regular recruitment is made, whichever is earlier.

Posts Available

The vacancies include Matron, Junior Staff Nurse, Lab Technician (Pharmacognosist), X-Ray Technician, ECG Technician, Museum Keeper, Electrician, Driver, MTS (Ward Boy), MTS, MTS/Attendant, MTS/Peon and Sanitation Worker.

Eligibility & Documents

Candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualifications and technical certifications relevant to the post. Applicants are required to submit self-attested copies of educational certificates, domicile certificate, category certificate, date of birth proof, registration certificates, experience certificates (if applicable) and an affidavit confirming they are not serving in any government department.

Selection Process

The selection will be carried out by a committee constituted by the Government and appointments will be made strictly according to the recruitment rules and reservation norms applicable in Jammu and Kashmir.

Application Fee

Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹500. The fee can be deposited through a bank draft in favour of the Principal, Government Ayurvedic Medical College, Akhnoor, or through the designated bank account mentioned in the notification.
