JKBOPEE MBBS/BDS 2026 Provisional Selection List Released After 1st Round of Counselling

The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released the provisional selection list of candidates from the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh for admission to MBBS/BDS courses for the academic session 2026.

The selection list has been issued following the completion of the first round of online counselling for MBBS/BDS admissions.

Deadline for Representations

Candidates who have any objection or representation regarding the position allotted to them in the provisional selection list can submit their representation along with supporting documents.

The representation must be submitted by 25 August 2026, up to 5:00 PM.

If no further notification is issued, the provisional selection list will be treated as the final selection list.

Admission Schedule

Candidates provisionally selected in the first round are required to report to their allotted colleges/institutions for completing admission formalities.

• Reporting starts: 27 August 2026, from 11:30 AM
• Last date for admission: 31 August 2026, up to 4:30 PM

Candidates are advised not to wait until the last date to complete the admission process.

Documents Required for Admission

Selected candidates must carry the following documents in original:

1. Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation)
2. Class 10+2 Marks Card
3. Domicile Certificate
4. Valid Category Certificate, wherever applicable
5. Valid Poor & Backward Category certificate, wherever applicable
6. NEET Score Card 2026
7. Compulsory Service Bond for candidates belonging to the UT of Ladakh
8. Any other document required by the concerned college authorities

The Category Certificate, where applicable, must have been issued before 10 August 2026, as specified in the notification.

Provisional Allotment Letter

Provisionally selected candidates have been advised to generate their Provisional Allotment Letter through the JKBOPEE portal using their own login credentials.

Candidates must then report to their allotted college/institution along with all required original documents and complete the admission formalities within the prescribed deadline.

Verification of Original Documents

The concerned colleges and institutions have been directed to properly verify the original documents submitted by candidates.

JKBOPEE has particularly emphasized the verification of category certificates for candidates admitted under reserved categories.

The eligibility conditions for admission will remain as specified in Notification No. 139-BOPEE of 2026 dated 6 August 2026, along with the relevant e-Information Brochure available on the JKBOPEE website.

Admission Counters to Remain Open

To ensure that candidates are able to complete the admission process within the deadline, the concerned colleges/institutions have been directed to keep their admission counters open even on holidays/off days, wherever required.

Candidates should complete the admission process well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute difficulties.
