jKBOPEE NEET UG 2026 Provisional Merit List Released

The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released the Provisional Merit List (PML) of NEET UG-2026 candidates belonging to the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

The provisional merit list has been issued vide Notification No. 145-BOPEE of 2026 dated August 12, 2026.

The list has been prepared on the basis of the NEET UG-2026 results declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the NEET data received by JKBOPEE from the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

Document Deficiencies Noticed

During scrutiny of the online registration forms and documents uploaded by candidates, JKBOPEE found deficiencies in the documents of some candidates.

The deficiencies may relate to documents including:

• Domicile Certificate
• Date of Birth Certificate
• 12th Class Marks Card
• Category Certificate
• Compulsory Service Bond for eligible Ladakh candidates
• Other required documents

Candidates whose documents have been found deficient have been included in the Provisional Merit List and will be allowed to participate in the online counselling process, subject to submission of the required documents.

Last Date to Submit Documents and Objections

Candidates can submit the deficient documents and raise objections regarding their merit position or deficiencies shown against their names.

No representation or objection will be entertained after the prescribed deadline.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates will also have to produce the required original documents before the concerned colleges/institutions at the time of admission.

Failure to produce the required documents may lead to cancellation of selection/admission, and the candidate will be responsible for the consequences.

Candidates who have applied under the Sports sub-category have been kept provisional. Their inter-se sports merit/ranking will be determined separately on the basis of the list furnished by the J&K Sports Council.

If a candidate's name is not included in the Sports Merit/Ranking list, the candidate may be considered under Open Merit or another applicable reserved category, subject to eligibility.

JKBOPEE May Modify the Merit List

The Board has clarified that the Provisional Merit List is subject to verification. JKBOPEE reserves the right to make additions, deletions, modifications or corrections in the merit list wherever necessary on the basis of documentary evidence and applicable rules.

Candidates are therefore advised to carefully check their merit position, category and document status and submit any required representation within the given deadline.
