J&K Smart City Recruitment 2026: 110 Vacancies for Veterinary Surgeon, Medical Nurse & Dog Handler

Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL) and Srinagar Smart City Limited (SSCL) have released recruitment advertisements for contractual engagement of Veterinary Surgeons, Para-Veterinarians/Medical Nurses and Dog Catchers/Animal Handlers under the Animal Birth Control (ABC) Programme in different ULBs of Jammu & Kashmir.

A total of 110 contractual vacancies are available under the two recruitment advertisements.

1. Veterinary Surgeon

• Total Vacancies: 10
• Qualification: MVSc in Surgery & Radiology from a recognised Veterinary College.
• Registration: Valid registration with the Veterinary Council of India/J&K Veterinary Registration Tribunal or recognised State Veterinary Council/Tribunal.
• Age Limit: 18 to 45 years
• Monthly Emolument: ₹80,000

2. Para-Veterinarian / Medical Nurse

• Total Vacancies: 40
• Qualification: 10+2 with Science from a recognised Board/Institution.
• Age Limit: 18 to 45 years
• Monthly Emolument: ₹20,000

3. Dog Catcher / Animal Handler

• Total Vacancies: 60
• Qualification: No minimum educational qualification.
• Age Limit: 18 to 45 years
• Monthly Emolument: ₹15,000
