The Railway Board has approved more than 8000 vacancies for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) posts under Graduate and Under-Graduate levels. The official Centralized Employment Notification (CEN) for Railway NTPC 2025 recruitment will be released shortly.

Key Points from the Notice
- Zonal Railway/PU-wise distribution of vacancies is given in Annexure-A (Graduate) and Annexure-B (Under-Graduate).
- Zonal Railways/PUs have been instructed to place the final indent in OIRMS within one week, after consultation with RRBs.
- Reservation norms for SC/ST/OBC/EWS must be followed as per guidelines.

🔹 Eligibility Criteria for NTPC (Graduate Level – 5817 Posts)
Educational Qualification:
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Typing skill is required for Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Sr. Clerk cum Typist.
Age Limit (as per last NTPC notification):
- 18 to 33 years (General category).
- Age relaxation:
- OBC: +3 years
- SC/ST: +5 years
- PwBD: +10 years
🔹 Eligibility Criteria for NTPC (Under-Graduate Level – 3058 Posts)
Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Typing skill is required for Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Clerk cum Typist.
Age Limit:
- 18 to 30 years (General category).
- Age relaxation:
- OBC: +3 years
- SC/ST: +5 years
- PwBD: +10 years
🔹 Other Important Points
- Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian citizen or as specified by RRB rules.
- Typing Test: For clerk & typist posts – 30 WPM (English) or 25 WPM (Hindi).
- Medical Standards: Candidates must meet prescribed medical fitness standards for the respective posts.
- Selection Process:
- CBT 1 (Prelims)
- CBT 2 (Mains)
- Skill Test/Typing Test (if applicable)
- Document Verification & Medical Exam
👉 This is the expected criteria for NTPC 2025, since RRB generally follows the same rules as in NTPC 2019/2020. The official notification will confirm it soon.
