The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is a Comprehensive Cancer Centre with a mission to achieve the highest standards in patient care, cancer prevention, cancer research, and professional development for oncology and allied disciplines.

TMC is an autonomous body funded and controlled by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. It is affiliated with the Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), a Deemed University under the Department of Atomic Energy, which provides high-quality postgraduate educational programs in science and technology, including Life and Health Sciences.

1) NURSE-C

No. of Posts: 03 (01-UR, 01-SC, 01-OBC)
Pay Level: Level 09 (Pre-revised PB-2, ₹9300–34800, Grade Pay ₹5400)
Level of Pay in Pay Matrix: ₹53,100/- (Level 09, Cell 1) + Allowances
Age Limit: 40 Years

Qualification & Experience:

• General Nursing & Midwifery plus Diploma in Oncology Nursing, OR
• B.Sc. Nursing OR Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (from a recognized university).
• Must be eligible to register with Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council.

Essential Experience:

• Minimum 6 years’ clinical experience in a 100-bedded hospital.
• Hepatitis B vaccination to be completed.
• Clinical experience before Post Basic B.Sc. shall also be considered.

Desirable Experience:

• Administrative / hospital administration course / oncology experience preferred.

2) NURSE-B

No. of Posts: 10 (03-UR, 01-SC, 02-ST, 04-OBC)
Pay Level: Level 08 (Pre-revised PB-2, ₹9300–34800, Grade Pay ₹4800)
Level of Pay in Pay Matrix: ₹47,600/- (Level 08, Cell 1) + Allowances
Age Limit: 35 Years

Qualification & Experience:

• General Nursing & Midwifery plus Diploma in Oncology Nursing, OR
• B.Sc. Nursing OR Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (from a recognized university).
• Must be eligible to register with Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council.

Essential Experience:

Pay Level: Level 07 (Pre-revised PB-2, ₹9300–34800, Grade Pay ₹4600)
Level of Pay in Pay Matrix: ₹44,900/- (Level 07, Cell 1) + Allowances
Age Limit: 30 Years

Qualification & Experience:

• General Nursing & Midwifery plus Diploma in Oncology Nursing, OR
• B.Sc. Nursing OR Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (from a recognized university).
• Must be eligible to register with Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council.

Special Note:

• Candidates with a Diploma in Nursing Oncology in TMC who served the entire bond period will be given 5 years’ age relaxation.

• Minimum 1 year’s clinical experience in a 50-bedded hospital.
• Hepatitis B vaccination to be completed.
• Clinical experience before Post Basic B.Sc. shall also be considered.

Mode of Selection, Paper Pattern & Syllabus

• Mode of Selection: Written Examination & Skill Test (Skill Test will be qualifying only).
• Paper Pattern: 100 Marks (MCQ or MCQ & Subjective).
• Syllabus: Based on the respective area of specialization / expertise.

The mode of selection will be decided by the examination committee based on the number of candidates shortlisted/appearing.
