The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), under the Department of Space, has released the Advertisement No. 6.3/CHSS/VSSC/2025/04 dated 23 November 2025, inviting applications for contract-based medical positions at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram.
Eligible candidates are invited for Authorised Medical Officer and Dental Surgeon posts at designated CHSS (Contributory Health Service Scheme) centres. The engagements are purely on a temporary contract basis.
Vacancy Details
1. Authorised Medical Officer – Edappally, Ernakulam
Essential Qualification:
- MBBS with permanent registration in Medical Council.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience after obtaining Medical Council registration.
Nature of Duty:
- Consultation and treatment of CHSS beneficiaries.
Location & Timings:
- Duty at CHSS Consultation Room with OPD facilities at Edappally.
Duration of Contract:
- Initially for 6 months, extendable with mutual consent.
Remuneration:
- Based on the number of working days.
- Up to ₹36,000 per month (approx.).
2. Dental Surgeon – Karamana / Thalial, Trivandrum
Essential Qualification:
- BDS with permanent registration in the Dental Council.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience after registration.
Nature of Duty:
- Providing dental consultations and treatments to CHSS beneficiaries.
Location & Timings:
- Duty at CHSS Dental Clinics in Karamana or Thaliyal, Trivandrum.
Duration of Contract:
- Initially for 6 months, extendable by mutual agreement.
Remuneration:
- Based on attendance/working days.
- Up to ₹36,000 per month (approx.).
