JKSSB Constable Recruitment 2025: 1815 Executive Police Posts Announced
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released Advertisement Notification No. 12 of 2025 dated 24 December 2025, inviting online applications for 1815 posts of Constable (Executive) in the Jammu and Kashmir Police under the Home Department. The recruitment will be conducted through direct recruitment for Divisional Cadre posts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Total Vacancies
A total of 1815 Constable (Executive Police) posts have been advertised:
Jammu Division: 934 posts
Kashmir Division: 881 posts
The number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending on administrative requirements.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) from a recognized board.
The required qualification must be possessed on or before the last date of application.
Domicile Requirement
Applicants must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
A valid domicile certificate issued by the competent authority is mandatory.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 28 years (30 years for In-service Police Personnel)
Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories and Ex-Servicemen as per government rules.

General Category: ₹700
SC/ST/EWS Categories: ₹600
Fee must be paid online only through net banking, debit card, or credit card.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be carried out in the following stages:
Written Examination (Objective-type questions, negative marking applicable)
Physical Standard Test (PST) – Qualifying in nature
Physical Endurance Test (PET) – Qualifying in nature
Medical Examination
Candidates holding NCC certificates will be awarded bonus marks in the written examination as per rules.
Physical Standards (Key Highlights)
Male Candidates:
Height: 5’6”
Chest: 32” (unexpanded), 33½” (expanded)
Female Candidates:
Height: 5’2”
Relaxation in height is applicable for candidates belonging to Gorkha community and Bot Tribe.
Pay Scale
Level-2 Pay Scale: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200
