Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold an MBBS degree from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Commission (NMC).
- The candidate must have valid registration with NMC/MCI or the concerned State/UT Medical Council.
- The bank reserves the right to raise eligibility standards to limit the number of candidates for interviews.
Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a medical practitioner or in a hospital.
- Preference will be given to General Physicians with relevant experience.
Job Responsibilities
The Medical Consultant will:
- Provide medical consultation to bank employees and their dependents.
- Offer professional opinions on medical claims, treatment costs, and documents.
- Provide free consultation and basic medical services (prescriptions, injections, etc.) to employees and retirees.
- Be available for emergency medical assistance and accompany patients to hospitals if necessary.
- Certify employees’ health status and medical leave certificates.
- Perform duties similar to a General Medical Practitioner and any additional tasks assigned by the Bank related to health services.
Selection Process
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on qualification, experience, and suitability.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview/Interaction to assess their knowledge, experience, and skills.
